Eleutheromania

By: Keipher McKennie

Eleutheromania (n.) An intense and irresistible desire for freedom.

I've been taking pictures since I was a kid. Film was the tool at the time; Pentax ME and K1000 were the instruments, of course they weren't mine but my dad allowed me to use them as if they were. I found myself vastly interested in trying to capture my experiences the people, places and things that I'd come across.

Fast forward to 2019 and I'm here exploring ways to push my work to the next level, through photography that’s as much a tribute to subject as it is to environment. A visual reflection of the named and un-named objects around us.
